Job Description

TrackVia is seeking an Integrations & API Engineer to integrate third party systems with our API for new and existing customers. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating our API and SDKs. As part of the Engineering team, you must ensure customers have a smooth transition deploying a new software platform within their organization. Your main duties will involve assisting with the development of integrations between TrackVia and other software applications and creating custom logic within TrackVia.

Responsibilities:

* Gather requirements from customers to understand and build the architecture and workflow of their integration
* Maintain software written for specific customers
* Set proper expectations and meet project milestones
* Coordinate with engineering to ensure new features and bug fixes won't adversely affect the API and customer integrations
* Add new capabilities to the API/SDK as needed to meet customer requirements
* Develop and maintain new connectors on the TrackVia Integrations platform
* Assist with the app deploy and train to utilize the TrackVia platform
* Peer review pull requests
* Set strategic goals for the team's processes, implementation strategies and software architecture.

Required Experience

* Strong experience with Node.js
* Experience with Javascript, Typescript, and Ruby
* Strong experience implementing Object Oriented architectures to create elegant, scalable, reusable, and testable code
* Strong experience with databases and database concepts (writing queries in SQL, normalization of database design, transactionality)
* Strong project management skills
* Technology enthusiasm/passion/aptitude
* Analytical problem solving
* Excellent written communications: clarity, brevity, grammar
* Excellent verbal communications: articulateness, patience, listening skills
