The Apple Integration Engineer will be responsible for developing and documenting key processes focused on Apple macOS/iOS product deployment. Communicate with key personnel in implementation and deployment of Apple product deployments. Provide direction, feedback, and Quality Control to assigned technicians during macOS/iOS deployments, and maintain up to date knowledge on key Apple product enhancements and changes.

The Integration Engineeris primarily responsible for:

* Develop and document essential Apple macOS/iOS deployment processes.
* Review current macOS and iOS tools available to Zones.
* Review current processes (both documented and undocumented)
* Review industry best practices (including Apple provided documentation)
* Update and enhance Zones Deployment processes based on best practices.
* Engage in meetings with key personal in preparation for Apple product deployments.
* Actively participate in the Zones team in support of Apple deployments.
* Review submitted and approved Apple Statements of Work and identify skill sets necessary and voice any concerns to Integration Management.
* Lead Pre-Engagement calls with customers to ensure project scope is defined with customer leading to a successful deployment.
* Provide daily status of engagements to Project Manager to ensure timely reporting back to Apple.
* Develop project specific documentation to support deployments.
* Review supplied Statements of Work to determine the scope of the project.
* Utilizing the following sources, develop process documentation specific to project:
* Original Statement of Work
* Apple supplied Best Practices
* Zones standard deployment processes
* Test deployments and customer feedback.
* Lead on site service delivery teams as needed
* Act as main point of contact for all customer-facing deployments
* Train field technicians as needed
* Provide daily progress reports to service delivery manager and project manager
* Provide training, guidance, feedback, and Quality Control during Apple Engagement
* Train technicians on basic deployment processes
* Provide engagement-specific documentation as necessary.
* Review technician process during deployments to ensure processes are being followed
* Provide primary QC process for deployments.
* Maintain high level Apple Certification and related product knowledge.

We are seeking candidates with the following skills and experience:

REQUIRED SKILLS:

* Strong attention to detail
* Prompt, motivated self-starter
* Strong interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills
* Easily adaptable
* Have good analytical and problem solving skills
* Have the ability to work quickly and accurately to maintain production requirements
* Have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
* Strong writing skills; experience writing technical documentation
* Ability to lift 50 lbs.
* Candidates must possess the ability and willingness to travel, which will include working off-hours, weekends and staying overnight with prior notification, up to 75% during peak season.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

* 3 years of experience with deployment, configuration projects working with Apple products
* Experience with current Apple macOS client and server
* Experience in deployment processes for macOS
* Experience with iOS setup and deployment including Apple Configurator
* Experience with Apple Deployment Programs (DEP, VPP, MDM)
* Experience with Caching Server
* Experience Automating repetitive tasks using Unix and Apple scripting tools
* macOS Directory Integration, specifically Microsoft AD

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

* High School diploma or equivalent. Associate's Degree preferred
* Apple ACSP (Apple Certified Support Professional) certification required for most current macOS version (or equivalent experience and certification within 3 months of hire)
* JAMF CCA or higher desirable
* Valid Driver's license, clean driving record.
* Must pass CA DOJ/FBI fingerprint background check
