Responsibilities

Responsibilities

* Learn and become utmost subject-matter experts on SWIFT integration product(s) of focus - i.e. AMH at first (with potential to expand to other solutions).
* Work in a team environment to deliver technical design, implementations and documentation for integration projects based on industry standard frameworks.
* Through direct interaction with customers, understand business and technical requirements of integration projects, document findings, to resolve issues and provide education when required.
* Perform code and project quality review for customer delivery.
* Perform installation of integration components and support customers with their project deployment.
* Manage 3rd Party Service partners when applicable.
* Continuously maintain and develop knowledge of architecture/design technologies, integration and future industry trends.
* Assist with presales activities including RFI's and RFP's, and service proposals.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor degree or higher in computer science or related field

Experience

5+ years or more experience of enterprise software integration

Professional knowledge and expertise

Required

* Working Knowledge and high-level understanding of databases (RDBMS/SQL), basic Oracle troubleshooting familiarity and experience, SQL*Plus script experience is a plus. Prior experience with Middleware / Application servers (e.g. WebSphere MQ, JBoss Server, JBoss Fuse, WebLogic).
* Experience with applications developed in Java (1.7, 1.8), through professional personal projects.
* Strong knowledge of Network protocols & Security: SSL/TLS, HTTP/S, JMS, MQ, Message integrity.
* Knowledge of and ability to articulate security related topics in software development and integration implementation
* Experience producing system design documentation, including FRS, HLD, ODD, etc.
* Enthusiasm and commitment to complete projects and meet milestones by overcoming obstacles.
* Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication skills (fluent in English, written and spoken): ability to present and articulate thoughts and ideas and ability to document work and design artifacts in prose and diagrams.
* Ability to contribute in a remote/distributed team environment and deliver under pressure and time constraints, mission-critical 24x7 applications or services.
* Strong desire to learn new things and to solve problems.
* Willing to travel up to 30%.



Preferred ("Plus")

* Knowledge of SWIFTNet, SWIFT's interface products and SWIFT's messaging solutions is a big plus.
* Knowledge and experience in the financial services industry.
* Strong knowledge and hands on experience in architectural principles, standards, technical trends and industry best practices.
* Technical expertise in these disciplines: Event Based Messaging, Web Services (SOAP and REST).
* Knowledge of Java development frameworks (e.g. Spring, Apache Karaf, Apache Camel, Apache CXF or similar) and integration patterns experience.
* Prior experience working with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, BitBucket.
* Experience in implementing Continuous Integration/DevOps.
* Customer orientation and prior customer relationship experience and skills.
* Spanish speaking.
