Integrated Master Schedule Manager, Lead

Key Role

Provide leadership and support to end users and process stakeholders within the Veterans Administration's Electronic Health Records Modernization Program concerning schedule management processes and guideline sand respond to requests from OEHRM staff and management, as needed. Serve as the OEHRM program lead scheduler as the outward-facing point of contact for all external schedule-related inquires accountable to the program control director. Develop schedule management processes and guidelines to be used throughout all OEHRM pillars and workstreams. Create program documents and standard operating procedures, including an Integrated Master Plan and monitor and report on schedule management performance across the program. Manage priorities and workload for schedule team, develop and maintain procedures for reporting program status, and prepare paper and electronic communications for senior management. Lead and manage schedule-focused meetings with internal and external stakeholders, develop and recommend courses or actions, and conduct what-if analysis, as required.

Basic Qualifications:

* 10+ years of experience with project management
* 10+ years of experience in interfacing with and responding to government client requests
* Experience with developing client-facing deliverables in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
* Experience with leading a team of schedule management professionals
* BA or BS degree in Engineering, CS, Systems, Business, or a related scientific or technical field and 10 years of professional experience or 18 years of professional experience may be substituted for degree requirements

Additional Qualifications:

* Experience with Microsoft Project Online and Project Web App
* Experience with solving analytical problems and determining preventative measures
* Experience with VA preferred
* Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
