Responsibilities

Design, configure, install, and maintain/troubleshoot/repair multiple physical security systems assets and components on schedule. Provide direct support to hardware implementation and upgrades, and provide technical input into drawing and support documents as necessary. Support re-certification testing and routine maintenance with local installation and program office.

Position responsibilities involve:

* Provide technical support for system installs and maintenance troubleshooting including camera cleanings, equipment rack grooming, device checks, and inspections
* Experience installing and maintaining fiber optics, card readers/door controllers, motion sensors, server racks, and cameras
* Assist in the installation of the wiring infrastructure including conduit, electrical cables, and data cables

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

* Proficiency in physical security systems: Access Controls (ACS) and Intrusion Detection (IDS) systems.
* Working knowledge of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) and Public Address (PA)
* Experienced with Navy Shore Platform Installation Handbook

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) physical security system Access Control Enforcer (ACE) and its integration with ACS
* Understanding of DMP systems
* Current Information Assurance certification
* Manufacturer certifications if required (Avigilon, DMP, etc.)
* Active Secret Clearance

Driving during company time for company purposes will be required for this position. Candidate must be eligible for coverage under the company's insurance policies.
