Bell has an immediate need for a Sr Infrastructure Engineer to join the team in the Fort Worth, TX headquarters.

The successful candidate is a senior level resource and will possess a solid understanding of enterprise environments including VMware virtualization and be able to troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, configuration and operational problems across the VMware, Wintel, x86‑64 Linux platforms.Knowledge of multiple vendor technologies and platforms including VMware, Microsoft Windows, MS SQL Server, Linux variants (SLES12, RHEL6/7) and SQL queries and supporting Java as well as scripting languages such as PowerShell or batch are required.

Critical to this role: the ability to be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills be available for on call rotations and can manage assigned projects independently. In this role, you will identify continuous service improvements, implement them, and measure results and drive projects to successful completion. You will evaluate automation tools, products, and features to make recommendations to senior leaders.

Responsibilities:

* Serve as part of a highly-skilled, high-performing team, providing technical solutions to create valuable extensions and enhancements of our service delivery automation service offering
* Support the availability, maintenance and usage of the services offered in a hybrid environment (cloud and on premise)
* Monitoring the stability of all environments/services including product performance and infrastructure utilization
* Continued growth as a technical expert in the service delivery automation domain
* Provide incident and problem management support for business groups and operations.
* Create and maintain technical documentation including operational run books, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
* Ability to analyze and apply patches, hot fixes, complete upgrades, and product enhancements for any automation tooling
* Manage all backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes and procedures. This includes understanding how to execute all procedures and meet all related SLA's and/or RTO's.

Education Requirements:

* BS Degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Position Requirements:

* At least 6 years of experience in enterprise environments including VMware virtualization and be able to troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, configuration and operational problems across the VMware, Wintel, x86‑64 Linux platforms.
* Experience with Azure Cloud Computing and related cloud products such as Veeam, Wintel platform Office 365 - AAD Wintel, Active Directory, VMware, Zerto virtualization
* Comfortable working with the Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system and AIX
* Expertise in scripting (PowerShell, Shell)
* Working technical knowledge of Cisco or other networking vendors
* Desire for maintaining, enhancing, configuring, and tuning complex systems/solutions
* Demonstrate effective written and oral communications within and outside of the IT Department, including interactions and knowledge sharing with all levels of staff from executive level management to individual contributors
* Ability to manage time and work independently with minimal supervision.
* Experience working in stressful situations and meeting tight deadlines.
* Self-motivated with the ability to complete objectives without requiring constant managerial oversight.
* Analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to work independently or collaboratively with other team members, peer groups, or business partners
* Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions and understand new technologies at a fast pace

* EVMS (Earned Value Management Systems)
* Six Sigma, Lean
* PMI
* CMMI experience
* IT controls (e.g. SOX)
* Familiarity with a professional services organization
