Job Description

The PRISM application DBA will perform the following special project activities:

* Assess current integration between UFMs and PRISM and provide different options to remove DB link connectivity and reduce operational dependencies between two systems
* Support the webservices solution with pilot testing
* Analyze and document requirements.
* Identify capabilities of Webservices/SOA and finalize the tool recommendations
* Install and configure SOA Suite/Sandbox for Pilot
* Support the testing of pilot for HCAS/PRISM webservices
* Provide findings and recommendations from pilot and develop an engagement plan

Apart from the above special needs, DBA will also be responsible for the following day to day activities:

* Co-ordinate with data center for facilitating meetings, security patching, storage requests and maintenance
* Co-ordinate with software vendor for issue resolutions and software updates
* Build, plan & implement System Maintenance change requests (CRs)
* Troubleshoot and Resolve Incident Requests (IRs) and Problem Requests (PRs)
* Plan and execute Service Requests (SRs) and CRs as per SLA
* Perform Server Maintenance, Release activities and storage management
* Perform instance cloning as per schedules
* Monitor system performance and defect resolution
* Setup and monitor backup
* Monitor Critical instances
* Monitor backups
* Support Year and Month End activities
* Generate daily readiness report
* Password management and file transfers
* Respond to the security and audit request

Additional Requirements:

* 6 -8 years Oracle Database Administration experience with SOA implementation
* Knowledge of O&M activities
* Direct hands-on experience Oracle Database version 12c
* Effectively interact with various members of the Application Support and Infrastructure team, as well as other members of client organization and project
* Understanding of the SDLC process
