What You'll Do

* End to End technical design of Core Infrastructure for New Data Centre builds (includes network, server and application level components)
* Review designs of existing Data Center's to identify improvement plans against the current reference architecture
* Technical designs/implementation of additional services in existing centers
* Working with the other functions in platform/s as a Service, internal teams and our key business partners on the core propositions, infrastructure strategy, and associated technical and/or product documentation
* Maintain an understanding of new technologies, architectures and products relevant to solutions/systems for platform/s as a Service

What You Have

* Extensive Design/Implementation experience with Market Data Distribution Systems including TREP/RMDS and SR Labs
* Design/Implementation experience with Trading Systems (either customer proprietary or 3rd party products)
* Design/Implementation experience with Direct Exchange feeds (e.g. from LSE, NYSE, Deutsch Bourse, etc.)
* Implementation experience with Direct Feed Handlers - product (e.g. RDFD) and/or 3rd party (e.g. SL Labs)
* Extensive experience working in Information Technology
* Recent "hands on" experience in financial services IT
* Solid experience with LAN and WAN IP Networking, (Cisco and/or Juniper - switching, routing, firewall/security)
* Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
* Experience working with telecom providers (e.g. BT, Colt, Verizon, etc.)
