Essential Job Functions

* Conduct or participate in Security Risk Assessments and Remediation Plans
* Review and update Information Security policies and procedures
* Review and analyze reports from various Information Security tools, including Information Security Vulnerability scanners, Endpoint Security Management Console, MS Systems Center, and AD
* Assess third party business partners for appropriate security controls

Requirements

Must currently be a permanent Los Angeles County employee who holds the payroll item of Information Technology Security Specialist.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

* Ability to present to a diverse audience.
* Experience reviewing SOC 2 reports

The Public Health Information Security Office is currently seeking an individual who is currently working in the field of Information Security. All interested employees who currently hold the payroll title of Information Technology Security Specialist or are invited to submit a cover letter, their resume, copies of their last two (2) performance evaluations, copies of their attendance record for the last 24 months, and any additional information the candidate wishes taken into consideration.
