JOB SUMMARY

Under the general guidance of IT Management, the primary role of the IT Program Administrator is to develop and maintain positive, effective working relationships between IT and business stakeholders by communicating IT activities, changes, educational materials, and other information. This role will also participate on project teams across business and IT groups

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Responsible for the quality and consistency of all IT communications; employee will develop and ensure adherence to department wide communication standards by proofing all written communications generated by IT solutions teams as well as the Service Desk.
* Assist Security Architect and Analysts in all aspects of IT security systems administration particularly in the maintenance of security policies and standards across IT Systems.
* Ensures compliance with information security policies and monitor policy by exceptions. Assist in the Security Awareness Program.
* Leverage communication vehicles such as newsletters and SharePoint to communicate changes and other related systems information to increase user awareness and adoption.
* Create effective working relationships through open and timely information sharing and effective collaboration with internal and external customers to achieve company goals.
* Participate in the development of marketing tools to ensure technology updates and changes are effectively communicated to business users.
* Analyze reports, policies and procedures, satisfaction surveys and ticket trends to identify communication and training opportunities.
* Survey users to ensure adoption of technology, IT policies, and procedures.
* Create IT department communications; employee will be responsible for developing content and writing IT communications (recurring and ad hoc) with input from subject matter experts.
* Own and manage the IT SharePoint pages; employee will be the IT site master and develop/edit content using input from subject matter experts.
* Support IT Compliance Manager by administering recurring communications.
* Assist CIO in writing communications and developing presentations for events such as IT Town Halls and other events.
* Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Required Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

* Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, or equivalent required.
* 3 - 5 years of experience working in a communications function

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations

* N/A

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

* Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organizational & documentation skills.
* Ability to manage conflicting priorities and prioritize effectively.
* Experience communicating and negotiating with senior managers.

Computer Skills

* Basic knowledge of HTML code.
* SharePoint design skills and management
* Advance Documentation software
* Must possess exceptional PC skills, especially Microsoft Office suite.

Language Skills

* English (reading, writing, verbal).

Mathematical Skills

* Basic level mathematical proficiency, with a strong ability to understand, interpret and develop spreadsheet data.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The employee uses computer and telephone equipment. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision. Must be able to travel by plane and automobile (if applicable).

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
