Metron's ORCA (Operations Research & Cyber Analysis) in San Diego, CA is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to provide assistance with cyber security operations and Risk Management Framework (RMF) continuous monitoring. This position will be responsible for:

* Maintain compliance of accredited information systems based on federal and DoD security standards
* Maintain and update the System Security Plan (SSP) and associated documentation
* Review audit logs and perform incident response
* Review and maintain data backup capabilities
* Perform software patching and updates
* Ensure Configuration Management (CM) for security-relevant information system software and hardware
* Initiate corrective actions if a security problem is discovered
* Access Control
* Assist in periodic vulnerability assessments
* Documenting the policies and procedures following RMF

Desired Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

* Active SECRET clearance or higher
* Experience with management of Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systems, Experience with Network Storage / NetApp

Desired Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, MIS, or a related discipline
* Experience with VMWare, NetApp, Linux based operating systems a plus
* Minimum of 2 years of ISSO or Senior System Administration experience
* Knowledge of NIST 800-53 controls/Risk Management Framework (RMF) Accreditation (assessment and authorization) Process
* One or more of the following Certifications: Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), Cyber security essentials certification (GSEC), Security+, DoD 8570 IAM Level II
