The selected candidate will join the LMA Classified Cyber Security Team as the DSS Information System Security Manager(ISSM) supporting all Collateral programs to ensure classified information systems (IS) meet cybersecurity requirements and government directives.

Interpret the DSS Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM) in determining technical Information Assurance (IA) requirements and ensure proper security implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Independently determines and develops approach to information assurance solutions.

Develop system documentation for information system authorization, security management, and continuous monitoring of both networked and standalone classified systems.

Perform system auditing, vulnerability risk assessments, Assured File Transfers, hardware/software configuration management, data integrity containments and investigations on IA related security violations/incidents.

Provide cybersecurity education and training for all system users on appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

Interface with internal/external customers to identify requirements and provide problem resolution.

Perform other associated duties as required.

Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance, based upon a National Agency Check with Local Agency Check (NAC/LC) conducted within the last six years and access eligibility for Special Access Programs.

Subject to routine government security investigations and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information throughout their employment as required by the job.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Basic Qualifications:

Possess DoD 8570 IAM Level III certification (i.e. CISSP, CISM)

Experience as an Information System Security Manager/Officer (ISSM/O)

Desired Skills:

Experience with Risk Managed Framework (RMF), DSS Assessment or Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), or Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG) requirements

Familiar with STIG Viewer, SCAP, Retina, SPLUNK, Nessus Security Center, and ACAS

Experience with eMASS
