You're a great fit if…

* You are experienced in developing system accreditation/certification documentation by reviewing and endorsing documentation and making appropriate recommendations.
* You have experience monitoring system security requirements during all phases of the system life cycle management process.
* You are capable of monitoring systems to ensure no testing occurs on the live site that could strain or test security mechanisms, or perform network line monitoring, or keystroke monitoring.
* You have experience ensuring integrity and protection of networks, systems, and applications by technical enforcement of organizational security policies, through monitoring of vulnerability scanning devices.

* You have 2+ years of experience evaluating system security postures and identifying vulnerabilities.
* You have an active Secret clearance and maintain the CompTIA Security + Certification.

* Supported engineering design teams by assessing network and system security design features and making recommendations concerning overall security accreditation readiness and compliance with cyber security (CS) guidance and best practices.
* Supported the development of an Authority to Operate (ATO) for cloud systems by drafting the following documents:
* System Security Plan
* Network Topology Diagram
* Data Flow Diagram
* Hardware & Software Listing
* Security Assessment Report (SAR)
* Plan of Actions and Milestones (POAM)
* Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM)
* Test Results and Other Security Control Compliance Artifacts
* You have a CISSP Certification

What your day will look like:

* You will acquire information to create the documentation by attending meetings, talking to subject matter expert's (SME), and researching existing documentation to produce the systems development life cycle (SDLC) documentation.
* You will organized, developed, and presented briefings, written summaries, and written reports incorporating narrative, tabular and/or graphic elements.
* You will support engineering design teams by assessing network and system security design features and making recommendations concerning overall security accreditation readiness and compliance with CS guidance and best practices.
* You will support interoperability assessment teams by applying CS SME judgment to assessment criteria, metrics, and techniques; developed CS assessment objectives; and presented written analysis and conclusions in all phases of analysis.

The Admin Stuff:

Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for potential access to classified information. An active Secret Clearance is required for consideration. Accordingly, US Citizenship is required.
