Lockheed Martin is seeking an Information Assurance Engineer for a position in Grand Prairie, TX. The candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in some of Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control's highly innovative and ingenious solutions to complex technical problems facing the aerospace industry. Job Description

The candidate provides Systems Security Engineering (SSE) designs and implementation in all aspects of Information Assurance Engineering. Assesses and mitigates system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle; validates system security requirements definition and analysis; establishes system security designs; implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures; verifies security requirements; performs system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities and supports secure systems operations and maintenance.

Design, implement, deploy, and maintain state of the art security architectures and countermeasures to protect and enable innovative new Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control products

* Balance security, compliance, performance, power and cost for a diverse portfolio of embedded devices
* Evaluate the security of new product designs and analyze vulnerabilities and threats.
* Prototype and test countermeasures that defend against cyber-attacks
* Embed yourself amongst Hardware, Firmware, Software, and Systems Engineers to define and integrate security measures into a wide range of high integrity, safety-critical products

The Locale: Grand Prairie is part of the "Mid-Cities" region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy and a pleasant climate. The Mid-Cities is the suburban region filling the thirty-mile span between Dallas and Fort Worth. These communities include the cities of Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, HEB (Hurst, Euless and Bedford), NRH (North Richland Hills and Richland Hills), Haltom City, Watauga, and Keller, along with multiple other smaller towns such as Trophy Club and Roanoke and together represent more people than either Dallas or Fort Worth.

Basic Qualifications

Must have a secret clearance.

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering

Experience with DOD systems or Cybersecurity

5 - 10 years of systems engineering experience supporting technical programs

A desire to learn and grow in the cybersecurity realm
