JOB DESCRIPTION

As the iNews Administrator, you maintain and provide support for the iNews Production systems along with associated peripheral devices and servers.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide end-user support
* Provide technical support for on-air devices that interface with the production systems i.e Graphics and Digital Media
* Configure, troubleshoot and maintain Teleprompter systems, Data Receivers, and MOS gateways
* Assist the Help desk with any iNews related issues
* Create and publish technical documentation
* Be available for overnight maintenance on weekends
* Provide 24-hour phone support on weekends
* Manage user accounts

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is preferred
* Experience in a television broadcast environment
* Knowledge of basic TCP/IP networking and networking components
* Avid environment knowledge (iNews), Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, Windows Server 2012R2/2016, VMware, Windows 10
* Bash Scripting Linux
* Ability to perform under pressure and stringent SLA's
* Good communication skills
* At least 5 years of iNews Experience
