Job Description

MTEQ is a lead sensor system integrator focused on providing advanced sensor technology to address C5ISR mission requirements. MTEQ provides a broad range of technical support across two divisions. Our Technical Services Division provides research, development, analysis and field service support to advance the architecting and fielding of advanced sensor systems for ISR and Force Protection missions. Our System Division provide the engineering design, development of complete and integrated solutions from hardware to software for sensors, systems and command and control architecture.

MTEQ is seeking Software Engineers with extensive knowledge and strong communication skills to join our team of well qualified, diverse individuals in support of the ATLAS program at our Ft. Belvoir, VA office. These Software Engineers will integrate image processing algorithms for Aided Target Detection / Recognition (AiTD/R) with processor hardware and imaging sensors for military applications.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Experience with Spiral and Agile Software Development Models


* Programming language: C/C++ (with Qt/GNU/Eclipse)


* Operating Systems: Windows 10 / Windows IoT / Linux


* Experience with Windows DLLs and related development tools. (Visual Studio experience - desirable)


* Experience with integration of sensors is desirable:
* Imaging sensors including visible and thermal imaging sensors


* Laser rangefinders.


* Position Navigation and Timing (PNT) including GPS Receivers, and INUs




* Experience with the NVESD Integrated Sensor Architecture is desirable.


* Data interfaces: TCP/IP, UDP/IP, serial (RS-232, RS-422)


* Video interfaces including:
* Camera Link


* HD-SDI


* GigE Vision


* CoaXpress


* Experience porting prototype algorithms from development environments such as MATLAB and Python into C/C++.


* Experience with code optimization for low latency at video rates is desirable.


* Experience with implementation on GPUs with CUDA is desirable.



SECURITY CLEARANCE:

Ability to obtain Security clearance required. Active Security Clearance a plus
