The unit you will work within "Business Area Networks (BNEW) is responsible for Ericsson´s industry leading radio products and solutions and is the foundation for Ericsson's technology leadership. BNEW is focused on securing our ongoing market leadership in radio, taking a leadership position in 5G, and continuing to invest for sustainable technology leadership within a highly competitive market

The overall purpose of BNEW SAN Lab Operations is to provide world class lab infrastructure, networks and HW Services to the R&D organizations. Through standardized solutions and services, we enable our stakeholders to configure and deploy (remotely where possible) their design and test environment. Lab Operations provide global service deliveries from Operations sites in China, Kista, Rosersberg, Linköping and Regional Labs globally."

Job Summary:

We are now looking for an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Engineer. Main tasks will be in the area of engineering installation documentation and guidelines as preparation for coming lab installations in all Kista and Rosersberg labs. The journey to automate hast just begun and much of the work will in Hydra going forth. The team provides Lab Operations hardware solutions for the internal Ericsson users. ICT Engineers ensure a stable environment and optimize the solutions/services to the agreed service levels in a cost efficient and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

* Creating cost effective solutions through activities in design, planning and deployment of installations
* Providing preparatory material for installations
* Developing Installation Engineering documentation
* Participating in moving Installation engineering environment into Hydra for Kista as well as Rosersberg sites
* Ensuring consistency of Hydra and physical installations on the two sites
* Contributing to continuous improvements in the organization
* Providing the technical support handling of internal and external customers
* Acting as subject matter expert in Installation Engineering

Key Qualifications:

* Education: BSC or equivalent experience
* Minimum years of experience: minimum 3 years in relevant technical area, Installation Engineering in particular
* IT Processes, tools and infrastructure knowledge
* ITIL certification
* CDCDP or similar certification in area of Datacenter design

Additional Requirements:

* Being able to handle Ericsson propriety equipment and equipment from other vendors
* Understanding of different Software operating systems
* Automation
* Hydra experience and understanding of Installation Engineering craft is an absolute must
* For the right candidate a IE team leader role is possible where you will be the right hand to the IE Operational manager cross sites Kista and Rosersberg.
