Job Description

Description: The Joint Staff Special Access Program Central Office (JS SAPCO) is seeking to contract professional to provide administrative, engineering, technical, and other support services as required to provide planning, monitoring, research, evaluation, assessment, and documentation for the JS and other Government agencies. This effort is to provide administrative and technical SAP security services necessary to support the JS SAPCO mission.

Duties:

* Provide technical services to ensure the Joint Staff SAP systems are designed to meet Intelligence community (IC) and DoD C&A and IA requirements and are properly certified and accredited.
* Design, develop or recommend integrated security system and physical control solutions that will ensure proprietary/confidential data and systems are protected.
* Provide technical engineering services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions to manage information-related risks.
* Participate with the government in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs.
* Configure and validate secure systems and physical controls, and tests security products and systems to detect security weakness.
* Prepare Security Accreditation documentation.

Abilities:

* Must be fluent in the English language and have the ability to read, write, and comprehend technical documentation.
* Must have thorough knowledge and demonstrated expertise in using computer software; i.e. proficient in MS Office Suite applications of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education/Required and Desired Experience:

* Bachelor of Science degree.
* At least fifteen (15) years professional experience with respect to DoD programs/projects.
* Capable of supporting some level of one or more of the following areas: modeling and simulation related to war gaming and Information Assurance support. Defense Information Assurance Processes, Risk Management Framework (RMF), Information Assurance level certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M, Level II, CISSP.
