FT/PTFull-time Overview

As the HRIS manager, you are a key subject matter expert and contributor to the success of HR technology and analytics including HR system planning, technical support, configuration, testing, and BI reporting. You will also serve as the primary liaison with other key partners in and outside Human Resources including Finance, Payroll and Information Technology. This includes support for our HRIS/Onboarding (UltiPro), applicant tracking (iCIMS) and learning management systems (Litmos) and ensuring that our talent systems are well-integrated, achieve our talent strategy, optimize employee experience and provide a high level of service to the organization. You are both strategic and hands-on, with the ability to take on both projects and day-to-day system support and analytics.

Scope of Accountabilities:

* HRIS project management and configuration, working with a variety of HR/Finance/business constituents to translate people and business needs into functional/technical requirements. This includes planning and implementation of new functionality, features and modules.
* Proactively monitors system releases and new features and identifies potential impacts to HR systems, processes or reporting. Communicates benefits to stakeholders and ensures effective overall change management.
* Builds test cases and conducts testing of new features, configuration, releases and fixes
* Partners with HR, IT and vendors to support system integration between HRIS, ATS, LMS and other systems. Manages roles to ensure proper security and access.
* Develops BI reports and dashboards and helps to ensure we have robust analytics and monitoring of key talent metrics and data.
* Provides a high level of day-to-day technical support including mass updates, problem-solving and root cause analysis; manages vendors and service tickets.
* Primary interface to payroll and works with payroll team to troubleshoot payroll and time and attendance issues where needed
* Creates and maintains functional and process documentation and assists with user guides and other materials.

What You Have

* At least 3 years of prior HRIS experience including configuration, testing and technical support . UltiPro experience a plus but not required.
* Passion for, and commitment to, the YMCA's mission and vision
* Knowledge of talent suites and/or experience with interfaces to payroll processes essential. Prior expericence with ATS and LMS systems is a plus.
* Ability to translate business and people needs into functional requirements with a variety of stakeholders and constituents.
* Strong analytical and technical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and BI reporting packages and tools, e.g Cognos
* Understanding of workforce analytics with the ability to design reports and dashboards
* Ability to provide a high level of technical support including analyzing issues and performing root cause analysis to develop solutions and counsel users.
* Customer orientation with ability to communicate effectively with a variety of non-technical constituents and effectively manage change.
* Adaptability and ability juggle and prioritize multiple, competing priorities
* Ability to travel locally when needed to field or other locations in the Chicagland area to meet with users and constituents
