Yamaha is looking for a motivated HRIS Administrator for our People Operations Group who is eager to make a difference. This position will have the opportunity to play a key role in our Global talent initiative and will lead the Implementation of the global Oracle Talent Management System for Yamaha.

Here's What You'll Do:

The primary focus of this position is the implementation, ongoing support and maintenance of the Global Talent Management System (TMS) in addition to other systems supported by the People Operations Group. This role serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Admin is also responsible for all upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects in support of long term adoption and optimization of the system.

Essential Functions

* Implementations: Support project management during system implementations as a member of the implementation team and ensure projects and tasks are completed as assigned. Document configuration process and key decisions in support of change management and communications. Lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing) during implementations and escalate feedback to implementation team, from UAT members, if additional discussion is required. Configure live sites in preparation for go live.
* System Maintenance: Assist in the review, testing and implementation of upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintain tables. Document process and results.
* Production Support: Provide support for TMS, including researching and resolving system related problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
* Projects/Process Improvement: Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation. Serve as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g. YCJ, global subsidiaries, Director of Talent Management). Use project management skills in managing projects. May provide overall project management for a given People Operations initiative.
* Reports/Queries: Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing management needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
* Training: Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train managers and employees on new processes/functionality. Train new system users. Create resources to support end user adoption and utilization. Create "tips" documents and Host learning events.
* Individual Development: Maintain awareness of current trends in TMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. Examine trends in information systems training, materials and techniques. Through classes, reading, CBTs or other mechanisms, continuously increase both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge. Participate in user group meetings/conferences.

Here's What You'll Bring to the Table

* Undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration, Management or equivalent
* At least two years as a Human Resource Practitioner with at least one year as an Administrator of a major Talent Management System (i.e. Oracle, SuccessFactors, Cornerstone, Saba, UltiPro)
* A blend of technical savvy and knowledge of Human Resources, with an emphasis on Talent Management
* Strong business acumen
* Consistent demonstration of the Yamaha values
* Stellar critical thinking and evaluation skills
* Outstanding troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Understanding of data analytics
* Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills
* Ability to coordinate and maintain follow-up on several projects simultaneously
* Ability to prioritize changing workloads
* Microsoft Office experience: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Learns technical information and systems quickly
* Prefer 2+ years administering Oracle's basic profile, performance management, career development, succession planning and/or talent review modules.
