Who we're looking for

Toyota's Human Resources Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated HR Technology Senior Analyst.

This role will be responsible for working with end users in the Mazda Toyota Manufacturing joint venture to resolve system problems and assist HR Technology Leadership in developing solutions for new business requirements, developing process documentation, and training end users. This individual will serve as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

Reporting to the HR Technology Manager, this individual will play a lead role in the team's objectives of maximizing the effectiveness of HR applications to achieve strategic business objectives.

What you'll be doing

* Providing leadership and subject matter expertise for strategic objectives within the team
* Helping maintain data integrity in systems by running queries, analyzing data, and coordinating issue resolution efforts
* Identifying and defining process improvements opportunities
* Assisting with system design and configuration for system modifications
* Training end users or internal clients regarding processes and system functionality
* Responding to ad hoc reporting requests
* Providing support for HR Technology including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results and/or process flaws
* Monitoring scheduled processes and performing troubleshooting as necessary
* Managing project progress by tracking activity and publishing progress report
* Developing system test plans and conduct unit and system testing
* Consulting the internal HR Technology team to help understand business processes, including the design, configuration, and testing of business process changes
* Champion innovative ideas around strategic opportunities throughout HR

What you bring

* Bachelor's degree or higher
* Previous HR or HRIS experience
* Solid experience with Workday
* Solid understanding of HR functions and processes
* Ability to build relationships within HR as well as cross-functional teams such as IT and Payroll
* Strong analytical/problem solving skills, coupled with strategic planning abilities
* Experience documenting processes, interfaces, data flows
* Proven ability to work in fast-paced environment, while maintaining strong attention to detail
* Hands-on experience in data standardization efforts for a large enterprise
* Experience working with quantitative and qualitative data
* Experience with and understanding of confidential nature of HR data
* Prior leadership role in a consultative capacity and strong team collaboration orientation
* Prior experience in presenting to senior and executive leadership teams
* Superior project management skills
* Naturally inquisitive and driven to pursue answers and insights through data and analyses
* Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction
* Superior written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate quantitative analysis in a clear, precise and actionable manner
* Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time

Added bonus if you have

* Experience with designing, configuring, and operating Workday HCM, Recruiting, and Prism Analytics
* Experience with other various HR Systems and modules (ADP Run, ServiceNow)
* Hands-on experience configuring, testing, documenting, and implementing applications to meet customer requirements
* Demonstrated experience administering change control for multiple applications within a fast paced, ever-changing environment
* Strong working knowledge of computer sciences and applications/software
* Ability to formulate and present recommendations regarding functional and technical solutions that improve business processes, enhance user experience, or reduce operating expenses
