DHS Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction is tasked with helping the nation prepare for and respond to threats across the WMD spectrum, including chemical, biological, and radiological/nuclear threats.

Responsibilities

* Contribute to Southwestern Border operations by supporting Headquarters-based staff
* Applies appropriate methodologies to support a federal client with data collection, validation, utilization, and visualization via multiple platforms
* Develop training and education for healthcare providers and first responders
* Support the implementation of a variety of programs that engage federal, state and local first responders
* Develop reporting metrics for DHS CWMD programs
* Applies expertise to support programmatic mission and goals

Qualifications

* A Bachelors of Arts or Science is required.
* Candidates must have 4-6 years of general work experience in an office environment including at least 3 years of specialized experience in areas such as training, program implementation, or program evaluation.
* Ability to communicate complex information in a straightforward, concise manner and have strong writing skills.
* Experience providing subject matter expertise in relevant field.
* Preferred experience such as the military or EMS. Other related disciplines such as veterinary or public health will also be considered.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications.
