You Have:

* 5+ years of experience with designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software for a healthcare or clinical environment
* Experience with VA VistA or DoD Health systems and Cerner/EHR deployment
* Experience with engineering and technical aspects of system or medical device interfaces
* Experience with technical change or configuration management and requirements management, including how they interact with prioritization
* Experience with using DoDAF or UML models to support technical analysis
* Experience with the VA
* Ability to perform as the highest level technical expert, including addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics, and multiple platforms
* Ability to see projects to completion and perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management
* Ability to obtain a security clearance
* BS degree or 10+ years of experience with IT system or software development in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

* Experience with integrating electronic health records a plus
* BA or BS degree in Healthcare IT, CS, EE, Engineering, or a related technical field
