Position Summary

We are looking for you to join the Healix team as a Manager Analytics Engineer, Analytics. The Analytics Engineer is responsible for participating in the design, implementation, and maintenance of reporting and database systems that support a high availability, high volume enterprise and reporting environment. The team member is expected to establish working partnerships with various groups across the enterprise including technology & business groups as well as outside customers, suppliers and vendors. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

Essential Functions

* Work as part of a team in the design and development of database systems (SQL Server, other SQL etc.)
* Create and evaluates the data needs of assigned projects and assures the integrity of the data.
* Lead the successful delivery of analyses and analytic solutions to meet business needs, interacting directly with clients and colleagues
* Assist in building ETL processes to connect to new data sources.
* Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
* Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
* Manage conflicting priorities and multiple projects concurrently
* Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
* Develop and update technical documentation
* Participate in load and performance tests analyzing & resolving bottlenecks and performance issues.
* Collaborate on the configuration of SQL Server etc. and other database tools.
* Assist in implementing and supporting database backup and recovery plans and procedures based on industry best practices.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent with programming experience
* Requires BA/BS degree or technical institute training and 1 or more years; experience on one platform, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Multi database, multi-language or multi business application is preferred.
* Intermediate SQL.
* Familiarity with Python language to develop and maintain existing automated processes.
* Must be able to collaborate across teams to produce strong insights to advance reporting and client deliveries.
* Experience in effective dashboard designing with a focus on customizing to client needs.
* Intermediate to advanced expertise with Microsoft Office suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred).
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
* Must be a team player but also have the ability to work independently
