Head of Catalysts Business Systems Management (1902201) - Iselin, NJ

Where the Chemistry Happens

Reporting to the Director of Digitalization and CC Business Systems, you will work closely with the businesses in strategically planning, designing, developing, optimizing and implementing business solutions on a global level across the Catalyst division. As a result, the IT infrastructure is established and further developed that enables overall digitalization in CC. You will be a results-oriented leader who can build strong working relationships and function effectively at all levels of the organization. You will think strategically to mitigate risks, resolve problems and add value for the division and BASF. Additionally, you will direct and steer the directly embedded resources from FD, maintaining and developing Catalysts specific business systems.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Formula for Success

* Leveraging your education in IT or a related field and your experience in business system development, process design, project management and large-scale project implementation, you will develop IT infrastructure to support digital projects.
* Utilizing your strong business acumen and demonstrated working knowledge of creation and/ or implementation of digital roadmaps, IT systems, budgets and planning, you will develop and maintain CC specific business applications.
* Relying on your experience in global, complex, matrix organizations and your strong understanding of SAP/ERP and related systems, you will streamline and optimize the current complex CC specific IT landscape, as well as drive data quality within CC.
* Your significant experience conducting complex analytic assignments in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment to accelerate decisions and create value will be a valued asset as you support Business Release Management, Change Requests and Work Requests for the division.
* Demonstrating your strong project management experience and proven ability to handle multiple and complex responsibilities simultaneously, you will be responsible for ensuring that all Catalyst business and operational system requirements are represented in all Senior BASF IS projects and manage NGBA rollout in CC.
* Your strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of personnel and senior management, including adapting appropriate oral and written presentations, will be essential as you support the development of IS project approval documentation.
* Your strong leadership and team building skills will serve you well as you motivate and challenge to drive high performance. Additionally, you will use these skills to execute performance and career development discussions.
