As Head of Business Intelligence Analytics, you will own the vision, strategy, and implementation of BI Analytics at Bluevine. You will be a key senior member of the rapidly growing analytics bench at BlueVine! We are building an elite team to drive the quality, speed, and actionability of our business insights. This is an instrumental hire to ensure alignment on metrics across the company and drive key projects as we continue the rapid growth of our business across existing and new products.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

* Own the vision, strategy, and implementation of Business Intelligence Analytics at Bluevine
* Drive data-driven business decisions by providing actionable insight and analysis to multiple internal teams including Sales, Customer Support, Product, Risk, and Finance
* Understand opportunities and challenges of internal business teams, and drive reporting and analysis to meet those needs
* Gather and document requirements for datasets, reports, and visualizations and drive to completion
* Build trusted Source of Truth datasets and drive adoption by report developers
* Coordinate closely with internal BlueVine system owners to understand the data available, its definitions and meaning
* Flexibly adapt to changes to provide a consistent view to business teams
* Own visualization and report delivery systems
* Manage and mentor BI data analysts
* Develop best practices for analysts in business teams

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

* 5+ years managing analytical teams, with a proven track record of delivering actionable analysis to business decision makers
* Strong ability to quickly grasp business team goals/KPI's and provide analysis to drive success
* Demonstrated ability to work at all levels of the organization gathering requirements and communicating outputs
* Expert level SQL with reporting table data modeling experience
* Redshift/Postgres preferred
* Strong experience with data visualization tools
* Tableau preferred
* Entrepreneurial mindset and a track record of finding problems, taking initiative, and executing on your own ideas
* A proven self-starter, setting your own deliverables, and then executing them
