As the Director of Analytics you will report to the Chief Data Officer, you will empower us to make decisions and manage the build-out of our Analytics team. In collaboration with the Data Engineering team, you will ensure that Earnest's data users have the information they need when they need it while helping us ask the right questions.

What You'll Do

* Lead the Analytics organization at Earnest
* Ensure the democratization of data and analysis, including empowering all departments to be more data-driven in their decision making
* Set the strategic vision for how Earnest should approach analytics
* Empower Earnest's employees to self-serve on the data they need for their jobs
* Collaborate with the Data team to establish a source of truth for internal analytics (curated data layer) on Earnest's data
* Build curated dashboards and spaces for effectively exploring Earnest's data (financial and behavioral)
* Help establish core metrics and concepts that individual departments can use to consistently measure the impacts of their efforts
* Provide Earnest's management and team with data-driven insights on how we and individual products are performing and what's driving that performance

What You'll Need

* 8+ years of experience in data analysis, including 3+ years managing analytics, business intelligence, data science, or related team
* Be able to write and mentor code development in SQL and Python (or R)
* Excellent statistical and quantitative analysis/modeling skills (e.g. significance testing, regression modeling, A/B Testing, etc.)
* Experience with dashboard design and data visualization tools, including familiarity with web-based data visualization platforms (e.g., Looker, Amplitude, Tableau, Periscope, or Chartio).
* Experience building out curated data layer strongly desired
* Familiarity with AWS
