E-commerce Visual Merchandising

The E-commerce Visual Merchandising function is responsible for maximizing sales by presenting the most commercial and inspiring online store. As an E-commerce Visual Merchandiser, you will be part of an existing or new (to-be-launched) market, for which you will be responsible for driving sales at one of our concepts and develop the best customer experience possible. Your closest team members will be other Visual Merchandisers, but you will also work in close collaboration with the E-commerce Merchandising team as well as with other functions both within Online Sales and across H&M such as marketing. Together with your team you will create the best customer offer for your specific market.

Your responsibilities

The role as an E-commerce Visual Merchandiser at H&M comes with lots of responsibility - and lots of fun! You will run and be responsible to optimize sales and create a frictionless customer experience in H&Ms biggest store. Together with your team you are going to be part of creating and developing the future of e-commerce for H&M.

Your main responsibility is to set up and optimize the online customer offer for your market and concept. You will do this by:

* Analyzing daily sales, customer behavior on site and the site performance, identifying customers' needs and act accordingly to drive sales
* Strategically place the products on site, ensuring the ranking is optimized based on customer behavior and in line with the H&M brand
* Managing the site content - including campaigns and local created content
* Daily analyzing with your E-commerce Merchandiser and the rest of VM team, ensuring the best customer offer is at place
* Creating concept and market specific activities on site, and push and mail communication channels, ensuring the messaging is in line with H&Ms business idea and brand DNA
* Strengthen the brand by setting up your online store in the most commercial and inspirational way
* Monitoring customer behavior and competitors by highlighting trends, features and website functionality that would add value to the customer experience

Your skills

* Have previous experience or a strong interest in sales and e-commerce


* An academic degree within business or with a background within sales and retail, preferable with in e-commerce


* Have strong analytical skills with the ability to handle both quantitative and qualitative data in order to drive sales and be able to take the right action bases on information from the data


* Previous experience and enjoy working within different CMS systems


* Have a great interest in driving result and improve way of working


* Have an interest in customer behavior, fashion and trends - a strong understanding for the customer needs


* Have the ability to work quickly and efficiently, with an excellent eye to detail and accuracy


* Have experience with analytical tools and a great understanding for the KPIs of the e-commerce
* Have excellent communication skills. From a language perspective, you need to be fluent in English
