Title: Guidewire Developer

Location: Liberty Corner, NJ

Duration: 6 months+ (Contract to Hire)

Job Description Summary:

The Guidewire Configuration Developer is responsible for configure and designing new functionalities for the existing Guidewire platform, supporting property and casualty lines of business. The developer is involved in the complete software development lifecycle following Agile Scrum delivery. Collaborate with program managers, architects, developers, business analysts, quality assurance testers and business users

Key Responsibilities:

* Works collaboratively with program managers, architects, developers, business analysts, quality assurance testers and business users.
* Develops technical workflows using different modeling techniques including UML
* Configure and design new functionalities for the existing Guidewire platform
* Creates new data model elements and extends the existing data model
* Implements business and validation rules for various transactions in Policy Center

* Must be detail oriented, logical, and apply high standards of excellence to his or her work
* Experience implementing property and casualty lines of business in Guidewire Policy Center
* Strong verbal communication skills
* Is an independent worker and proactively seeks to innovate
* Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience developing with Agile Scrum

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field
* Experience with Policy Center v9/10 is required.
* Experience with Claim Center and Underwriting Management a plus
* Insurance domain experience is required
* 3+ years' experience as a Guidewire Configuration Developer coding with GOSU/Gunit
* Implementation with CI/CD process, DevOps Best Practices
* Experience with MS SQL Server, conversant with SQL
