Description

The Joint Technology Center/Systems Integration Laboratory (JSIL) is in need of a Global Hawk Pilot Subject Matter Expert in Huntsville, AL to support the development of Air Force Global Hawk training solutions.

The Global Hawk Pilot Subject Matter Expert will support development of a training capability to enable Global Hawk operators formal and continuation training in a controlled environment in order to reduce the reliance on operational and training missions. Global Hawk training capabilities include mission command/control and exercising designated tasks to train emergency/fault procedures.

Candidate will apply their Global Hawk Pilot SME experience to support collaboration with the Air Force customer to define, capture, derive, and prioritize applicable requirements for the training solutions. Requirements will be de-composed to a software/hardware level for implementation following an Agile/SCRUM development process. Candidate will also support verification, integration, test, documentation, and delivery of the training solutions. Candidate will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced development environment with multiple contractors and teaming partners and must be self-motivated, reliable, dependable, flexible, and also have excellent interpersonal and verbal/written/presentation communication skills.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in an engineering or STEM discipline, and 5 years of relevant experience as Global Hawk Pilot.


* Air Force Instructor or Evaluator Background/Experience (2 years)
* Must have an active Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain a Top Secret/SCI
* Must be willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL
