Amazon Web Services is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for world class candidates to help build an ecosystem of partners for Amazon Linux.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced candidate to build, own and manage the partner ecosystem for Amazon Linux including defining the strategy and building an ISV certification program for both strategic and long-tail partners. The ideal candidate has a background in Linux, Operating Systems, Containers and has built software ISV certification programs. This role has a global responsibility and will work closely with AWS product teams, partner development managers, solution architects, professional services, and our sales teams. AWS customers are developing some of the most exciting and innovative applications on Amazon Linux, and you can help to dramatically accelerate the innovation around the Amazon Linux ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in building and managing software certification programs along with strong business development, strategic alliances, and entrepreneurial skills. He/she should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about new business models, solution selling, and technical challenges to help build and convey compelling value propositions for AWS customers with our partners. The candidate should also have a proven track record of influencing innovation through a partner ecosystem with prior solution and program successes.

You will be expected to:

* Define the overall ISV Certification Program- technical validation, benefits, GTM Strategy for both strategic and long-tail partners
* Work closely with Partner Solution Architects (PSA), the Product Teams, and Marketing to build an end-to-end certification program.
* Work closely with the Service Team, Sales and BD Teams to prioritize partners solutions based on customer demand and input.
* Qualified candidate will be responsible for managing the build-out of test strategies and processes and will work with third parties to automate and execute various test and test case scripts using the test framework and guidelines defined.
* Develop innovative testing strategies that drive test time reduction, including test automation where possible
* Structure and execute GTM Programs with Strategic ISV Partners
* Define Quarterly Certification Goals and communicate to internal stakeholders
* Engage with C-level partner executives to define and communicate the value proposition and benefit of building products and certifying products on Amazon Linux
* Influence Partner Development Managers to prioritize the Amazon Linux certification program
* Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic and technical goals
* Be a subject matter expert and work with the product team to develop features based on partner feedback
