As a Full Stack Web Software Engineer you will be part of the team that is taking a large eligibility application in Optum and transforming it to a modernized platform. If you ever wanted to be part of major application redesign, this is the position for you. From solution design, to development, performance tuning, acceptance test and implementation you will be and hands on agent of change.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Performing all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, and code development & testing
* Designing and implementing product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
* Design, develop and test reusable frameworks, libraries and Java components
* Be innovative in solution design and development to meet the needs of the business
* Working very closely with Architecture group and delivering technical solutions
* Expected to adapt in dynamic and collaborative work environment and make independent decision
* Collaborate with the scrum team to meet project timelines

Required Qualifications:

* 2 years of experience in design, development and implementation of enterprise applications using J2EE
* 2 years of experience working with React or Angular
* 2 years of experience with core and advanced Java and Java scripts
* 2 years of experience working with Spring Framework
* 2 years working with design patterns, coding standards and performance improvements
* Experience working within an Agile/Scrum Methodology
* Understanding of CICD process and tools - Jenkins, Automation, GIT, Artifactory, XL Deploy, Fortify Scan, Sonar Cube

Preferred Qualifications:

* Healthcare industry experience
* Experience with the following:
* Streaming technology i.e. Kafka
* Cloud - Open Shift
* Rules application development
* Framework - Spring Framework, Spring Boot
* Database - NoSQL, DB2
* Microservice architecture
