An opportunity to join our Markets Technology team has arisen for an AVP Full Stack Test Automation Engineer. You will work as part of a global team in our equities division in our state of the art automation platform. Barclays Technology continually strives to be the market leaders and looks for individuals that are passionate about technology. This role will allow you to work on greenfield Java development, engage with a variety of business and technology stakeholders and further develop your technical skills in a high performance environment.

What will you be doing?

Maintain and develop the Automation ToolSet (Web Apps) to ensure a smooth experience to our large user base.

Exchange Simulator

Test Evidence Repository Platform.

Help and Support QA Stakeholders in AMER Region (and globally when Time Zone overlaps)

Help manage test environment and test data ensuring support of test efforts and schedules.

Collaborate with development teams on common approach of Continuous delivery model

Deliver high quality work

Help training, mentoring and participate in interviews and hiring the best talent

What we're looking for:

5 years solid experience using Java Server Side (J2SE 7/8) involved in the full development cycle

5 years Web development (Vaddin, GWT, Web Services, REST API, Angular)

3 years' experience with data based (relational or not)

Skills that will help you in the role:

Experience with Java Fluent Interface or building Java DSL

Experience using Unit test frameworks such as JUnit or TestNg.

Experience with Cloud, Docker, etc.

Experience working in a large, globally distributed development team and within agile environment

Investment banking knowledge
