Position Overview

As a Front End Engineer on one of the Amazon Robotics software teams, you will be part of an exciting, diverse team that is responsible for developing and deploying novel software systems with User Experience and Customer Obsession at its core that impact hundreds of users for every minute of their working day!

You will own software applications and systems that enables human supervisory control of automated tasks. The mission of this team is to deliver production quality software at Amazon scale with User Experience at the core. You will collaborate cross-functionally to develop new pioneering applications in a highly exciting and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Front End Engineer for Amazon Robotics applications, your responsibilities will include:

* Creating world-class, user-centered designs while considering experimental research, business requirements, customer feedback, and usability study findings
* Designing and developing the UI architecture, interface, and interaction flow of the web application
* Translating business and functional requirements into deliverable software and customer experience
* Building quick prototypes, visual mockups or proofs of concept in partnership with other technology leaders within the team
* Inventing new features, designing, developing and deploying reliable front end applications
* Challenging and mentoring other engineers
* You will tackle challenging situations every day and you'll have the opportunity to work with multiple technical teams at Amazon. You should be comfortable working on new and novel applications and relish the idea of solving customer facing problems.
