Senior Web Developer (Client Side)

We are seeking a high skilled and detail oriented Senior Web Developer to be an integral part of our engineering team. If you are to be considered, you will have at least 5 years of experience working in a dynamic, fast paced Ad Agency or similar type of environment and will have a deep understanding of client side development and Open Source in general. You're savvy enough to know the difference between Responsive Web design v.s. Adaptive Web Design. You Tweet, follow key tech influencers and keep your finger on the pulse of mobile, social and web technologies. You've coded the client side experience to work across multiple devices and can troubleshoot client side code really well.

Qualifications

* At least 5+ years as a Senior Web Developer on medium to large-scale technology engagement in an agency environment
* Expert-level knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript / HTML frameworks
* Experience building dynamic and responsive web sites
* Knowledge of cross browser coding best practices
* B.S. or equivalent work experience

Core Duties/Responsibilities:

* Hands on programmer with excellent debugging and problem solving skills.
* Great communication skills and the ability to communicate with non-technical users i.e. Project Managers, Account Managers and the client if needed.
* Implement SEO best practices while coding HTML

Skills / Requirements

* Ability to use Photoshop and extract media
* Solid understanding of AJAX, JavaScript, JSON and JavaScript Frameworks (Angular, jQuery)
* Knowledge of Wordpress / Drupal theming or other CMS / Blogging platforms is a plus
* Knowledge of PHP or Ruby on Rails is a plus
