Brain Corp is a San Diego-based AI company that specializes in the development of self-driving technology. Our AI tech represents the next generation of artificial brains for robots - it enables machines to perceive, learn, and navigate complex environments, while avoiding people and obstacles. We partner with commercial equipment manufacturers, and global consumer electronics brands, to transform their products into self-driving robots.

We are actively seeking a Front-End Web Developer who will focus on building and maintaining Brain Corporation's various internal and external-facing web applications.

Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain both internal and external web applications
* Work with back-end developers on integration and troubleshooting
* Work with designers and product team to implement a particular look and feel
* Ensuring web applications remain available and secure

Required Experience

* 3+ years experience in web development
* BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
* Proficiency in HTML/CSS/Javascript
* Familiarity with modern javascript ecosystem (npm, webpack)
* Familiarity with client-side frameworks (ex. React, Angular, Ember)
* Familiarity with AJAX requests, and API integration
* Experience developing in a UNIX/Linux environment and familiarity with backend services
* A demonstrable understanding of the software development lifecycle and best practices
* Knowledge of unit and integration testing methodologies and build processes

Things that make a difference

* Experience working with deadlines and mission critical projects
* Familiarity with preventing XSS attacks and CORS
* Strong experience in React framework
* Self-motivated and self-starter
* Problem solver unfazed by ambiguity
