Job Description

Relative Dynamics is currently seeking a Flight Software Engineer to join our Commercial Space Program working on SmallSat and CubeSat Project.

Responsibilities

* Develop software using C++ for Guidance, Navigation & Control of the Orion Vehicle.
* Leverage related tools and experience to develop new coding methods.
* Familiarity with software development and good coding practices.
* Perform trajectory development, optimization, and simulation.
* Assess the ground systems processing of navigation data for compatibility with any given flight software.
* Provide recommendations for ground systems to assure maximum on-orbit performance of a mission.

Requirements and Qualifications Required Qualifications:

* Applicant should have coding experience and proficiency in C/C++
* Python/Scripting Experience
* Linux/Unix Experience
* Ability to learn new tools quickly and leverage technologies for projects
* Background in Guidance, Navigation & Control

Preferred Qualifications:

* Embedded Programming
* Propulsion knowledge/experience

Experience Requirements:

* Candidate must have 3-5 years of related experience

Education/Certifications:

* Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in Engineering or higher
