Perspecta has a need for a FISMA SME located in Washington, DC.

This position will establish and satisfy information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands. Determine enterprise information assurance and security standards. Develop and implement information assurance/security standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

* Applies experience with RMF, CNSSI 1253, NIST SP 800-53, and NISPOM


* Applies experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker (SCC)


* Applies knowledge of Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs)


* Supports annual FISMA, NIST 800-53, ICD 502 and ICD 503 guidance and other yearly ad-hoc IT financial control audits


* Cyber Security/Computer and Network Defense Subject Matter Expert (SME)


* Concentrates on overall technical and operational effectiveness of capabilities


* Provides recommendation on continuous improvement of the processes and architecture supporting the overall Cyber Defense operational activities including, but not limited to, analysis, incident handling and reporting products, and the reporting



Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience or a Master's Degree with 6 years, High School Diploma/GED with 12 years, or Associates Degree with 10 years


* Strong hands-on experience with federal information security frameworks and controls including FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, RMF and related


* Provides technical support on major tasks or technology assignments.


* Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.


* Has domain and expert technical knowledge.


* Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.


* Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
