MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE. JOB DUTIES: To design, develop, verify and integrate critical firmware components for the next generation of SSD products. Investigate, prototype and deliver new and innovative SSD solutions. Architect and deliver sophisticate embedded firmware. Analyze corresponding product level performance. Scoping and recommending specific customization for specific market segments. Modify build infrastructure and script tools in firmware as needed. Collaborate with both firmware and hardware product teams to deliver architectural documents, design specs, firmware source code, and test scripts. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as a Firmware Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a related occupation in lieu of a Master's degree or the equivalent and two (2) years of experience.Experience must include two (2) years of experience with: Embedded firmware design and development; Programming in embedded environment for storage devices; NAND Flash technology and Flash Translation Layer (FTL); and Real time debugging tools.
