NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Firewall - IDS Engineer Lead to join our team in Arlington, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Responsibilities:

* Design implement install configure maintain test and integrate local or enterprise computer networks
* Design implement configure and enforce security controls on network hardware and software components and devices
* Perform research and document logical and physical solutions that prevent detect and correct the system to be assessed and authorized
* Develop/review/maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts in support of accreditation efforts
* Identify security requirements to bring a system into compliance
* Plan develop execute and document results of security test procedures
* Conduct vulnerability testing and analysis
* Conducts Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations as needed
* Attends and participates within the Change Control Board/Change Approval Board (CCB/CAB) meetings as needed
* Authors SOPs as needed or directed
* Responsible to fully document assigned tickets to show all work performed in order to pass SLRs
* Responsible to maintain accurate CMDB entries for assigned tickets or tasks
* Responsible to create, track, and work to resolution Normal and Standard job related Change Requests

Qualifications:

* US Citizenship required
* BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Physical Science, or other technology-related discipline plus 6 years of relevant work experience. Education Substitution: For each year of degree required, 2 years of experience may be substituted.
* Experience in Network Engineering configuring and administering networking devices such as routers switches and firewalls
* Experience in the design implementation configuration and enforcement of security controls on network hardware and software components and devices
* Experience with the implementation of cybersecurity and Information Assurance (IA) boundary defense techniques and various IA-enabled appliances
* Experience in Cybersecurity Engineering vulnerability analysis risk remediation and the implementation of cybersecurity controls to satisfy the RMF
* Experience with performing cybersecurity and vulnerability testing
* Strong ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations
