FIRE CONTROL/FIRE SUPPORT SPECIALIST (PMF-19-0952-F):

Bowhead is seeking for immediate hire a Fire Control/ Fire Support Specialist in Quantico, VA. This position requires the ability to understand requirements, program objectives, and training materials and to articulate these to "other systems" program management personnel, contractors, and to all levels of command. A knowledge of AFATDS, EMT/C2PC, Centaur, Sensors and MTS is required with emphasis on AFATDS. Knowledge of AFATDS FoS usage as defined in appropriate Marine Corps Reference Publications is a perquisite as well as familiarity with USMC and Joint fire support doctrine.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION INCLUDES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

The Quantico SME 3 shall provide liaison support:

* Provide Program Office AFATDS FoS with detailed technical and operational support to assist in decision making and requirements development.
* Understand program guidance from PO AFATDS FoS and express this guidance as USMC positions on fire support and system/software requirements.
* Extract key points from meetings, briefings and demonstrations and identify potential issue of concern to PM Fires.
* Report critical issues (information judged to be of immediate concern) to PO AFATDS FoS via email, telephone or text as these issues arise.
* Provide a weekly report summarizing all information presented, and positions taken by involved personnel, during meetings, briefings and demonstrations attended.
* Augment field support and training/fielding efforts as required.
* Review and critique briefing material, training material and fielding plans.

Requirements REQUIREMENTS:

* Technical Training in relevant C5ISR field; preferably in Marine Corps MOS 0848 or 0861 or US Army MOS 13C, 13D,13F or 13J.
* Nine plus (9) years of hands-on experience with task* specific project, to include three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training. Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and public service leadership in relevant technical field*.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold and be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Secret clearance at this location.
