The Financial Systems Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Financial Systems Technician - Hourly to join our team.

Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

* Assists Financial Systems team on the development and implementation of the strategic financial management roadmap, with emphasis on improved efficiencies in the financial systems, processes, reporting and data management.
* Assists in the development, implementation and support of the financial management solutions to support the ongoing and future needs of the institution, including but not limited to the annual operating budget, biennial legislative appropriations request, quarterly financial statements for both the UNTHSC executive leadership and the UNT Board of Regents.
* Supports Axiom, the UNTHSC selected web-based financial reporting tool, by championing it to the campus customers, improving the repository of operational and strategic reports, and updating as needed to provide continual and accurate operations.
* Assists in the support of institutional initiatives with the consolidation of financial data from outside entities including but not limited to the UNTHSC/Texas Christian University MD School, John Peter Smith Hospital and UNTHSC Foundation.
