Job Summary:

The Financial System Administrator is responsible for the maintenance and updates on the accounting system for the whole accounting department. This includes the creation and maintenance of financial reports using a variety of report writing software. They also coordinate projects to enhance the efficiency of the accounting department by introducing and implementing new technology and new systems.

Essential Functions:

* Assist in the preparation of the budget files for Southwest Key Programs and its affiliates on an annual basis.
* Heavy report writing using FRx, JET Report, Crystal Reports, and Excel.
* Maintain various accounting databases.
* System administration for Dynamics GP (Great Plains) and others as assigned.
* NSLP Customize accounting software and automate accounting processes.

Other Functions:

Ability to react with a changing environment and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
* 3 years combined experience in Accounting and/or MIS.
* Advanced Excel skills.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of work station and other office equipment. Frequent typing, writing, bending and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.

Work Environment:

General office environment with moderate noise. This position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer use at workstation for extended periods of time. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.
