Field Enablement Architect

As PTC continues on a path of accelerated growth, the need to train, enable and certify our customer-facing technical and sales teams is paramount. Ensuring we can develop, support and scale a world class team of PTC experts is a critical success factor. The Field Enablement Architect will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and governance of the certification framework, systems, processes and infrastructure (the 'Field Academy') that will allow us to effectively and efficiently deliver a world class PTC Certified Professional program.

* Proven ability to deploy modern content development best practices for the digital world

Responsibilities:

* Work with Field Enablement management team and key stakeholders to design the PTC Certified Professional Program to support technical implementation roles, sales roles, partner roles, and other customer-facing roles
* Assess current systems and implement infrastructure to manifest the vision of the Field Academy
* Define the content roles and processes required to ensure the PTC Field Academy continuously enables field personnel
* Develop and implement a multi-year roadmap that continuously adapts to changing business priorities
* Drive modern content design, development and delivery best practices into the Field Academy content teams
* Implement user-centered design principles that ensure positive learner experience, adoption and results that drive business impact
* Implement a Field Academy governance model that ensures stakeholder requirements are continuously identified, prioritized and addressed

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree and/or related experience in a technical discipline
* 10-15 year's experience in content program design and development in a technology environment
* Experience implementing instructional systems, instructional design, adult learning theory, training and development and/or performance technology
* Experience with performance improvement and project management

Preferred Skills & Experience:

* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and within a matrixed team environment
* Ability to prioritize, coordinate and deliver multiple work projects simultaneously
* Ability to communicate appropriately with all levels of management, applying both tactical and strategic thinking to new business challenges
* Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to effectively work in a virtual cross-functional team environment
* Experience implementating eLearning in LMS / LCMS web environments
* Strong strategic planning and project management capabilities, outstanding cross-functional collaboration skills and international/multi-cultural exposure
* Organizational agility with the ability to lead and drive change and maneuver through unstructured problems to create necessary structure to drive results
