Responsibilities

The Facilities Clearance Support Analyst will be responsible for the following:

* Monitor and process changed condition(s) of cleared facilities and in-processing facilities that impact the facility security clearance (FCL).
* Document change condition actions in ISFD and provide a weekly deliverable report summarizing all change condition actions.
* Evaluate required investigations and assist industry with 100% completion of all requirements.
* Create and coordinate all required internal and external correspondence in relation to the facility clearance process and change condition requests.
* Conduct monthly quantitative and qualitative analysis and evaluation of the FCL program and provide information about improving initiatives and strategic plans through efficiency.
* Provide a weekly status summary report; process new Facility Clearance (FCL) requests; in-process utilizing Industrial Security Field Database (ISFD) within one business day of acceptance by DSS.
* Register new facilities in Electronic Facility Clearance System (e-FCL); create electronic file folder and Outlook suspense notifications.
* Maintain individual FCL tracker which monitors each FCL request assigned and current status.
* Process survey follow-up action based on reports from DSS field offices; initiate and manage personnel security clearance (PCL) investigations for Key Management Personnel (KMP) at facilities in-process for an FCL utilizing JPAS.
* Prepare monthly metric analysis report summarizing contractors' actions and impact on FCLs in the National Industrial Security Program.
* Coordinate all administrative tasks at the executive or senior management level.
* Perform clerical and administrative duties; plan and coordinate conferences, meetings, and seminars and make travel arrangements for staff members.
* Create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
* Perform other duties assigned, including a variety of confidential or complex executive administrative responsibilities, including filing, preparation of correspondence, customer contact, answering questions from employees, vendors and other representatives, soliciting bids from potential vendors, making travel arrangements and diagnosing/making adjustments in equipment.
* May lead small projects.

The Facilities Clearance Support Analyst may also be responsible for the following:

* Answer phone calls from security professionals and KMPSs concerning their FCL, focusing on issue resolution.
* Utilize ISFD, JPAS, and internal SharePoint systems or other follow-on systems to provide responses to inquiries involving FCL process, requirements, and KMP personnel security investigations tied to the FCL.
* Respond to inquiries on functional questions of FCL requirements, changed conditions, and the status of KMP investigations.
* Answer questions from security professionals regarding the status of FCLs.
* Utilize ISFD, JPAS, and internal SharePoint systems to determine the status of the security clearance process.
* Supervisory duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education, Work Experience, Skills and Clearance Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, English or related subject and at least five (5) years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of formal education beyond high school, experience, and demonstrated proficiency.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Able to demonstrate effective customer service skills via communicating with customers on the phone and effectively resolving customer issues.
* Active Top Secret security clearance verifiable in JPAS.

Preferred:

* SharePoint experience.
* Knowledge Center Support.
