Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior System Engineering expert in satellite communications for the Evolved Strategic SATCOM (ESS) System Engineering, Integration, and Test branch. Provide technical leadership in an integrated program office of Air Force, Aerospace, SE&IS, SETA, and contractors. In coordination with SE lead, provide support across wide variety of system engineering efforts for ESS Rapid Prototyping and Rapid Fielding. The selected candidate will possess excellent oral and written communications skills. Strong interpersonal skills required for interacting with Aerospace peers, SETA colleagues, contractor representatives, and Air Force counterparts. Will be responsible for requirements, external interfaces, transition from legacy system, program risks, test and verification. Will also support architecture, cyber, crypto, tech evaluations, and agile mission assurance.
