Ventera is hiring a SQL / ETL Developer to support a long term project located in Washington, DC, New York, NY or Irving, TX. This role will be responsible for supporting and providing quality of delivery for data extraction, transformation and load needs through the development of new or enhancement of existing routines, or the management of contractor-sourced resources.

Required Experience

* At least six (6) years of experience in database development, data warehouse experience and at least 2 years' experience with Informatica ETL development required
* Expert level SQL skills required
* Strong Data Analysis skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment, manage multiple projects, work in a fast-paced environment and be organized and detail oriented
* Ability to work cross functionally across teams throughout the US
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or related course of study required

Preferred Experience

* Experience with Teradata
* Experience implementing best practices for Teradata and EDW development
* Knowledge of data security design for self-service BI platforms
* Experience using ERWIN or other data modeling tool
* Knowledge of EMM suites - Unica/Aprimo/SAS
