ERP Technical Project Manager

Job Description

As Penumbra's ERP Technical Project Manager, you will help to drive innovation in healthcare by guiding the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. You will collaborate closely with IT teams and business users to ensure that the project aligns with overarching program goals and benefits, applying your knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or other ERP solution.

What You'll Achieve

* Manage multiple competing ERP cross-functional projects simultaneously.
* Interact with engineers, program managers, peer project managers and business users daily to identify, prioritize and schedule project tasks to keep project on track.,
* Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, maintain meeting notes, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles.
* Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and resolve conflicts between business needs and technical constraints.
* Ensure consistency in deployed configurations.
* Define and track metrics and KPI's on business scaling, customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
* Promote adherence to standards with regard to methodology, documentation and quality assurance.
* Deliver IT change management and compliance documentation as required.
* Communicate any concerns with issues that may impact project schedule, budget or quality to the project sponsor and stakeholders.

What You Bring

* Enthusiasm for and a proven track record of success managing complex implementations.
* Effective analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* At least 7 years of project management experience in ERP or business applications implementation.
* Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems managing rollouts of business processes, including accounting, financial reports, order to cash, procure to pay, plan to build.
* Solid understanding of software development life cycles, contemporary project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, iterative and incremental), and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.
* Strong attention-to-detail, individual initiative, and ability to work effectively with little supervision.
* Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and effective inter-personal ability working in cross-functional project teams.
* Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Word, Excel, and Visio skills.
