Job Description

Description:This role supports the procurement organization's SAP requirements. The job is to work with the procurement organization to understand systems needs, create required design and specifications to get the requirements approved and developed. Once the objects are developed the employees test, promote the code to production, validate the performance in the production environment and ensure communications and training occurs. The organization currently uses design thinking and prototyping to ensure alignment with the customers. The team is transitioning into using the Agile development methodology. Procurement process knowledge and technical aptitude are both important requirements for the job.

Basic Qualifications:

Procurement process knowledge

Business systems analysis and design

SAP Navigation and procurement transaction knowledge

Experience with prototyping tools (Axure, Build.Me, Visio etc.)

Desired Skills:

* Experience with prototyping tools (Axure, Build.Me, Visio etc.)
* Understands impact of decisions on procurement processes
* Ability to work in schedule-driven environment
* Working knowledge of Aeronautics' procurement quality and manufacturing systems a plus
* Understanding of Aeronautics' Supply Chain Management procurement policies and practices is highly beneficial
* Knowledge of SCM SAP tables
* Knowledge of formal project management methodologies and systems analysis tools, processes and methods
* SAP Supply Network Collaboration (SNC) familiarity
* Knowledge of databases, database relationships, interfaces, integration techniques, and query languages ABAP
* Familiarity with Aero business operations tools and processes

Understanding of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations), and Aeronautics' procurement policies and practices is highly beneficial
