Job Description

Brown & Toland is looking for experienced, well-rounded individuals to join the team here as we implement EPIC EMR! We're searching for individuals with a good blend of technical skills pertaining to their specific area of expertise within EPIC, as well as someone that can present well to stakeholders. Job Responsibilities:

* Maintaining the scope, schedule, and quality of the project in their specific application area or team
* Setting clear expectations for team members, including defining what they should do at each phase of the project
* Working closely with the project director and other project managers to coordinate activities
* Ensuring that the business community is engaged in the project
* Advising and coaching team members by providing guidance on project issues, key success factors of the project, and lessons learned
* Sharing with team members the positive effects of innovation and system capabilities
* Reinforcing the importance of the project together with the executives and the project director, and providing consistent communication to the project team
* Organizing resources within the organization; motivating and showing appreciation for the team
* Appropriately matching team member skills to team responsibilities
* Managing the project from an organizational perspective while attending to detailed tasks
* Assisting as a support contact for their area
* Identifying and troubleshooting issues
* Guiding workflow design, building and testing the system, and analyzing other technical issues associated with Epic software
* Serving as a liaison between organizational needs and Epic implementation staff
* Maintaining regular communication with Epic representatives, including participating in weekly project team meetings
* Working with Epic representatives, your organization's business community, and end users to ensure the system meets the organization's business needs in regards to the project deliverables and timeline
* Developing an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows
* Participating in training and working with end users
* Reviewing the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership
* Holding weekly communications with team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end‐user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones

Required Education, Licensure or Certification:

* Relevant Epic Certification is required related to their assigned area of Epic Module implementation
* Project Management Professional (PMP)
